Some roads lead to nowhere,
Better to follow the lesser trodden paths than this,
But should you stray unto previously lain streets,
Apparently leading to nothing,
Walk them in peace,
Find something useful in the journey,
Even in lack of expectation at finding anything at all,
All roads converge,
Even when coming to an end,
All so necessary,
In karma's eyes, my friend,
Do not break and bend the body,
Of work, go slowly,
Perhaps the vastness in expanse surrounding,
Will grant view of the Stars, abounding,
And of the fires burning within,
The last drag for a while,
Smiling to oneself,
To spite and in honor,
Of the graves lining the sides,
Say goodbye to all you've ever known,
Somehow finding home in isolation,
Knowing we're never truly alone,
Just in a state of incubation,
Trial and tribulation,
Becoming weary,
Lay down under the heavens and the trees,
And dream.

“The poet’s initial ‘silent contact’ with the world allows them to see it for what it is, and only then do they attempt to describe it. In doing so they are influenced as much by aesthetics as by facts, searching for words whose sonority and soul reflect the world rather than provide it with information. In Reflecting, they embrace the richness of the world...” Quote by Ion Georgiou
